Friday Egg: Irrigation Study

Contemporary Batik Eggshell: Irrigation Study in reds and blues

Happy Friday! We did a lot of traveling this summer, and I was looking out the windows of several airplanes. I've always loved to look at landscapes this way. The distance simplifies shapes and flattens everything out and turns it into a two-dimensional graphic. This is a study of the crop irrigation patterns you see on the ground from an airplaine. It's not perfect but I feel like there are design ideas here that I would like to continue to pursue.

I hope you enjoy it.
